Personas
Personas were utilized as an effective tool for visualizing end-users’ motivations, behaviors, and needs for content strategy, usability, and journey mapping projects. These four personas represent individuals from a variety of backgrounds, demographics, and life experiences that could be potential product users.
The goal for visualizing each of these fictitious individuals was to create effective user stories that drive the motivation for improving a product. While each persona used the same format, the color palette and content were adjusted to reflect the user. The primary color for each persona was used to create a visual hierarchy (i.e., a pattern where some elements stand out more strongly, demonstrating importance). Contrasting elements, such as the gray outline or fill for the “Needs” section, were used to draw the viewer’s attention to critical information that should be used when determining content improvements.
