Poppin Joe’s Gourmet Kettle Korn is a business owned and operated by a young man with down syndrome and autism spectrum disorder. Launched in 2005, the business had grown to gross $75,000 per year within ten years. Using the Wayback Machine, the previous business website and social media presence were analyzed to provide recommendations for content strategy improvement.

 

The Content Strategy report was developed by broadly researching current internet and social media audiences, potential competition, and Poppin Joe’s. Using this research, areas of improvement across all content types were identified. Recommendations were presented for each website page and social media account to improve usability, meet users’ expectations, and enable organizational growth.
